You have now learned at least 200 songs and done 200 technique exercises by this point, as well as learning 10 of your own chosen songs. You probably have done even more than that if you have entered the contests and played around in the music library. THAT.IS.TRULY.REMARKABLE!
Most traditional students take a full year to get to this point. The average student learns 1-2 songs a week and takes about a year to move up a level. But not YOU! Great work! You can give yourself a pat on the back!
(And we really should give a shout out to Piano Marvel for providing us the technology to move along at this accelerated pace! Thanks, Piano Marvel!)
Now, if you haven’t already, you really need to show off our skills. This can be difficult for some people to want to do. Just do it! You learn A LOT by recording yourself and watching, so even if you just do it for your own sake, it will be worth it. It is also very, very motivating to look back at the videos you will create and see the progress you have taken and to record your achievements.
So, time to get out there and do it. Take a video of one of your favorite songs you have learned so far. You can make it as great of a video as you want, or just simply take a one shot video. It’s up to you how simple or complex you want to make it.
Some resources you could try out for video editing, if you would like to:
Then you need to share it! Share it with a friend, send it to a relative, or post it on social media or YouTube. You will highly value these videos, especially as you progress and see how far you have come when you look back on them.
