In Method 2D, you will start learning sharps and flats. They look like this:
What it means, is that you play one half step (usually the black key) down for a flat or a half step up for a sharp. The natural sign is to let you know not to play a flat or a sharp – but to play it natural! Flats and sharps open up so many possibilities on what you can play! And they are so fun to play.
You will begin playing your first blues songs. They can be a lot of fun! Soon, you will even be playing your own improv of blues. I think you will love it!
Remember, you can click on the notes (if you are on a laptop) to see what exactly to play if you need to.
Make sure and watch the video attached to the lesson as well for some additional instruction. Have fun with Method 2D!
